So here it is!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">The basic almond bread recipe in &#8220;Gut and Psychology Syndrome&#8221;\u00a0contains\u00a0just ground almonds, eggs and fat of some kind (eg butter, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturefoods.co.nz\/nutritional-oils\/butter-oil\/green-pasture-coconut-ghee\">ghee<\/a>, duck fat or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturefoods.co.nz\/nutritional-oils\/coconut-oils\/zenian-coconut-oil-thailand\">coconut oil<\/a>). In &#8220;Breaking The Vicious Cycle&#8221; <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.grouprecipes.com\/31847\/lois-langs-luscious-bread.html\"><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Lois Lang&#8217;s Luscious Bread<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\"> also contains dry curd cottage cheese, salt and baking soda.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">I developed this combination of Lois Lang&#8217;s bread with the basic coconut flour bread recipe. It\u00a0contains\u00a0baking soda, but to be 100% GAPS just leave that out. The variation I made last week used coconut oil for the fat and\u00a0pumpkin\u00a0for moisture to make it dairy free. It stays moist in the fridge for a few days.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">5 eggs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">4 oz melted butter (or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturefoods.co.nz\/nutritional-oils\/butter-oil\/green-pasture-coconut-ghee\">ghee<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturefoods.co.nz\/nutritional-oils\/coconut-oils\/zenian-coconut-oil-thailand\">coconut oil<\/a>, duck fat, palm oil)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">1 cup cottage cheese, yoghurt, yoghurt \u201ccheese\u201d, kefir, kefir cheese OR 1 cup mashed pumpkin\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">1 heaped teaspoon baking soda<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">2 \u00bd cups ground almonds (or other nut flour)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">\u00bd cup coconut flour, sifted<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat oven to 175C (350F). Line a loaf tin with baking paper. Beat the first 5 ingredients together. Mix the flours together and beat into the wet ingredients. Spoon into tin and smooth the top. Bake till golden, about 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Variation: Zucchini bread<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Replace the cottage cheese or pumpkin with 1.5 cups grated zucchini.
