Measure out a cup of quinoa and rinse well. Soak for 12 hours in \u00be cup of warm water, plus 2 Tbs whey. Add another \u00be cup and bring to the boil. Simmer, stirring often, till the water is all absorbed and the quinoa is soft. Fluff up with a fork to seperate the grains. This will make about 2 \u00bd cups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Mix about \u00bd cup of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frot.co.nz\/design\/recipes\/basic-salad-dressing\/\">basic salad dressing<\/a> with the quinoa in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. If it seems like it needs a bit more dressing, add up to another \u00bd cup more.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">1 cup fresh parsley, washed and chopped finely (can do bit by bit in a food processor)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00bd cup fresh mint, chopped (optional)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">1 red onion, or a bunch of spring onions, chopped finely<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">200g cherry tomatoes, halved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">This is a basic tabbouleh recipe.
