It doesn\u2019t need extra sweetener, as the dates give a nice flavour plus sweetness.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">4 fresh dates, chopped<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">250ml (1 cup) coconut cream<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">1-2 Tbs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturefoods.co.nz\/coconut-products\/coconut-sugars\">creamed coconut<\/a> (optional)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">250ml (1 cup) plain, unsweetened yoghurt (preferably thick) &#8211; if you want this to be dairy free, use coconut yoghurt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Chill the coconut cream for a couple of hours. Beat till it starts to get thick, then add the dates and optional creamed coconut. (If the coconut cream has a high coconut content, say 80%, you won\u2019t need extra creamed coconut, though you can still add it. But if it\u2019s lower fat, say 50%, the creamed coconut makes it thicker.) Blend well and keep whipping till the mixture is thick.
