Down at our local art gallery, John Badcock is having an exhibition.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

He is a photo realist, and his lead painting is of a naked man beating a woman with a stick.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I carefully added some Toyota HiAce van reflection to give my photo of his painting some social context.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And then I let rip with a few filters which seemed to bring out the beating aspect a little more. There is nothing like a good beating!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Are we being traumatised by these images? Well I guess that depends how sensitive we are.<\/strong><\/p>\n
