I BUGGERED OFF FOR THREE MONTHS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On my third birthday back in August I celebrated by totally quiting all use of Steemit. I was pretty pissed off about having all my illusions totally shattered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back in 2016 I was writing posts about Steemit being the future of the internet, making friends, making money, and doing some of the best blog posts I’ve ever done.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A series of well timed crypto investments and sell offs in 2017 meant that I ended up making tens of thousands of dollars from my Steemit earnings, copies of most of my best Steemit posts are on my own blog, and I still have friends I’m contact with daily that I made through Steemit. So I did well.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

But to see a platform that I invested so much belief in, turn out to be a giant scam run by the very people I spent so much time trying to expose online really took the wind out of my sails…<\/strong><\/p>\n

OK, now I’ve had three months of no Seemit, so I’m going to turn Steempress back on, and start sharng my posts again. It’s all an experiment, almost all my Steemit friends have long since posting or commenting, and I have absolutely no belief in the platform anymore. I’m certainly not doing this for fame or money!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Will I still be arsed voting or commenting? I have no fucking idea, but that is the nature of experiments (at least those that are not being funded to provide a specific outcome). <\/strong><\/p>\n
