People are endlessly addicted to worrying \u2013 from my mother to about half of everyone who posts anything on the internet. Self help gurus like Louise Hay are constantly saying that what you think about and focus on become your reality. And Carl Jung once said \u201cWhat you resist persists\u201d. I\u2019m writing it from a history of being a \u201cconspiracy theorist\u201d since well before 911, who has been calling \u201cbullshit\u201d since I first learnt the words \u201cbull\u201d and \u201cshit\u201d and grasped that it was possible to connect words together without hyphens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/640x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/bullshit_to_topb3913.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/640x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/bullshit_to_topb3913.jpg 1x, https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/1280x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/bullshit_to_topb3913.jpg 2x\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Now I could go on about bullshit until the cows come home, but it probably won\u2019t do me any good. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/640x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/la-et-st-syfy-developing-brave-new-world-as-series-20150505da938.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/640x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/la-et-st-syfy-developing-brave-new-world-as-series-20150505da938.jpg 1x, https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/1280x0\/https:\/\/www.steemimg.com\/images\/2016\/09\/13\/la-et-st-syfy-developing-brave-new-world-as-series-20150505da938.jpg 2x\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Another big one for me is the whole \u201cit\u2019s the end of the world and everything is buggered\u201d mindset. Really, it\u2019s all a giant collection of monsters under the bed, designed to keep people in a state of fear and worry. But there is a good side to this.
