An explanation for Non-Hivians –<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/em><\/span>What on earth is this post about?\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Hive blockchain in theory, is an uncensored blogging platform where you can earn rewards for blogging. It\u2019s not a big ecosystem, but it\u2019s very relevant to our current global system because it is becoming increasingly dysfunctional.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The theory of Hive sounds good, but in practise it highlights all the shortcomings of decentralised blockchains based on \u201cproof of stake\u201d (ie. who has the most money), and indeed, our entire society. Rather than creating healthy competition and creating higher standards, it creates decline, mediocracy, and corruption.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

(There are about half a dozen blogging front ends running on the Hive blockchain – the most popular one is called “Peakd” – https:\/\/peakd.com<\/a> )<\/p>\n

A cabal of deep state funded accounts control the content and the reward pool, by relentlessly downvoting non-approved content and constantly throwing large upvotes at the other insider accounts. Currently non allowed content includes exposing the coronahoax or agenda 2030, the corruption on the platform itself, and anything else they don\u2019t like.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The accounts doing the downvoting are just tools \u2013 the real problem lies in the set up of the blockchain itself \u2013 a system in which the powerful can control and censor the content, while also stealing all the rewards for themselves. <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My own account was reasonably popular with around 900 followers and my posts were getting around 100 upvotes and earning about $20 each. But these days everything I post is downvoted to zero by insider accounts. The account that seems to have been assigned to do most of the down voting on my account is called @azircon.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

So this post was all about giving @azircon some much deserved love and appreciation \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the great things about Hive is making special friends.<\/h3>\n

Although most people probably wouldn’t notice it, one of my best friends on Hive is my buddy\u00a0@azircon<\/a>. We often have deep and meaningful exchanges in chat, and sometimes he bares his soul to me.<\/h4>\n

I have never publiclly discussed our conversations before, but yesterday he asked me to help him with his identity crisis.<\/p>\n

“Yes,\u00a0@frot<\/a>, please do a post about me” he implored when I asked if he was sure he wanted to be in the public eye.<\/p>\n

So I agreed to do a poll, where everyone could vote on what his new identity should be. The illuminati mask set up is getting old and no longer very hip so he needs to reinvent himself.<\/p>\n

We came up with four choices:<\/h2>\n

A. The real Aircon. An actual photo of him, with just a few filters to bring out his woke, liberal, non-binary identity.<\/h3>\n

B. Sexy Aircon, comfortably embracing both sides of his sexuality – a fantasy character<\/h3>\n

C. Primal Aircon – getting back to his primal roots, free to sniff and be sniffed<\/h3>\n

D. Nazi Dictator Aircon – king of downvoting and censorship, for the greater good – a man’s man…<\/h3>\n

Aircon also asked if I could post a picture of his other online friend – his special friend, Azalia:<\/h2>\n

So that’s the options – choose A,B,C, or D and leave your choice in the comments. (Just don’t expect to ever earn a payout on Hive again!)<\/h2>\n
