Back in 2020 during the great New Zealand coronahoax lockdown I used to make a point of getting outside and going for a walk every day, and I also spent a lot of time chilling out at empty beaches on days when the weather was OK.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

As a result of that I not only got much fitter, but also had lots of time to contemplate my navel and have endless brilliant ideas.<\/h3>\n

About 20 years ago I had a website called www.sift.co.nz where I used to semi-anonomously post lots of stuff that might potentially freak out customers, but over time I lost interest in trying to maintain different online identities, and just started being my non government approved self all over the place, all linked to my easily traceable \u201cFrot\u201d name.<\/p>\n

I always liked the way the Sift site looked with it\u2019s cool logo and big bold coloured fonts on a black background, which was quite unusual for it\u2019s time, so the idea of revamping the old site was appealing. Much of the style of this blog www.frot.co.nz that I set up later was copied from it so there are a lot of similarities.<\/p>\n

My plan with the Mk2 Sift site was to keep the original style but just use it like a scrapbook with big galleries of images and copy and paste posts of other people\u2019s content that I liked. Meanwhile I would keep using the Frot site for posting my original content.<\/p>\n

At the start of 2022 I finally got around to updating it and wrote an intro page –\u00a0https:\/\/www.frot.co.nz\/design\/sift\/home\/sift\/<\/a><\/p>\n

But I didn’t do much with it,\u00a0 primarily because the hits were absolutely appalling. A site that is mostly images and not much text gets very little traffic, so it did nothing for the instant gratification of my ego and I wasn\u2019t very motivated to do the work to get it off the ground. So it sat there pretty much unused.<\/p>\n

Eventually I decided to give up my plan of making it awesome, and instead just keep posting on www.frot.co.nz. So Sift is on the back burner. I haven’t entirely ditched the plan, but one website is enough really.<\/p>\n

One of the galleries I did post on Sift was \u201cJAB REACTIONS\u201d which was essentially a gallery of people who either died or became very ill after getting their death shots. And there are plenty more where those came from…<\/p>\n
