There
is a growing awareness in New Zealand of the importance of eating natural
foods, prepared in the best ways to enhance digestion. There are now many
people who are members of the Weston A Price Foundation, using Nourishing
Traditions by Sally Fallon as their favourite cookbook, experimenting
with fermented foods, or looking for natural supplements. If you are one
of them, you may be having difficulty finding some of the foods or supplements
you want.
Or
you may be following a special dietary protocol, such as gluten free,
casein free, starch free, SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet), GAPS™ (Gut and Psychology Syndrome™) or BED (Body Ecology), and be looking for resources.
Our
aim at Nature Foods is to help New Zealanders find those hard to find
foods, within New Zealand. We don't stock a full range of everything you
might need, as many foods are readily available in your area.
But
if there is something particular you want and we don't have it - ask.
We may be able to source it for you, or let you know who in NZ is already
bringing it in.

Freight:
Due to increased courier charges, and new NZ Post rates for rural from 1.3.12,
we have had to revise our freight charges, and now need to charge extra for rural. The new charges are:
$4 ~ Local (Wellington, Porirua & Hutt Valley)
$9 ~ Rural
$6 ~ Everywhere else in NZ

are happy to answer questions of a general nature about the products.
If
you want to know whether a product is suitable for your specific
health needs, you may need to speak to Deb Gully, our Natural Health
Therapist. She offers an initial 15 min consultation free of charge.
If you would like ongoing support, her charges for phone consultations
are:
- $20
for 15 minutes
- or
if you want a short session each week (eg if you are working through
GAPS) $70 paid in advance covers an hour in total
- a full GAPS consultation takes two sessions (2 hours for the first, 1.5 plus email followup for the second) @ $150 each
