WHERE IS MY SPELLCHECKER?

– My spellcheck underlines were disappearing when I saved posts to draft. And there was no spellchecker ABC icon on my toolbar.
It seems that the WordPress spellchecker used to be supplied by Google and they discontinued it. Luckily Jetpack can sort this out.

How to fix – go to:

Dashboard
Jetpack
Settings

Tick “Spelling and Grammar”

Click on the ABC button to highlight the mistakes. Left click on each one to get a drop down list to fix it.
